Hi there! We are Luis and Cristina, two people deeply in love with our land, León—its lush nature, its landscapes, its endless possibilities… and we are going to tell you our story. We are a couple from El Bierzo who have been dedicated to beekeeping for more than a decade; what began as a hobby has become our sweetest professional project. Luis decided to forge his own path in the world of beekeeping in 2012, and I, Cristina, have been by his side for the last five years. Our goal: to offer you high-quality, artisan Spanish honey. Currently, we have 200 hives located in different areas of El Bierzo, a fertile region surrounded by mountains with a Mediterranean climate, allowing us to obtain a product of supreme quality: 100% pure and natural honey. Our apiaries are surrounded by nature—forests, chestnut trees, blackberry bushes, and native wild flora that our bees feed on—and this is reflected in the honey we produce. We are passionate about being in the countryside surrounded by hives, observing the work the bees carry out and enjoying the different blooms throughout the year (El Bierzo is wonderful in every season thanks to its changing colors), with the aim of offering different varieties of honey. At present, the honey produced by our little bees is mainly chestnut and blackberry honey, and we know this because we carry out an annual biochemical analysis of the product. Cheers!
